Strong Girls, Strong Women: Women’s History Month In Boston

National Women’s History Month has officially begun! The month of March is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of women in history and contemporary society. Did you know women have created some of the world’s most successful inventions including life rafts, windshield wipers, medical syringes, and most important - chocolate-chip cookies 🤤 - who knew???

In recognition of National Women’s History Month, the city of Boston is putting together brunches, workshops, and great conversation and we’d like to feature one we think really stands out:

STRONG GIRLS, STRONG WOMEN
March 18th from 3 - 4 p.m. via Zoom
Join on ZOOM free

Strong Girls, Strong Women event is designed to connect Boston’s young girls with members of the Age Strong Commission, a group of age 55+ Bostonians dedicated to enhancing other people’s lives so everyone can age and live strong together. During the event, supported by the city of Boston, youth and elders will be share and exchange stories and experiences that have shaped their lives. Additionally, attendees will explore coming of age in these unique times, and how different generations are able to work together to overcome life’s obstacles and help communities.

Have fun this month!
