Harvard Book Store to Open at Prudential

The beloved Barnes and Noble of the Prudential Center closed this past June and left book fans devastated. The good news are that Harvard Book Store will be taking its place so book fans do not have to worry about not having a place to purchase books in the area!

The store will open in the Spring of 2023. This location will contain a wide selection of books, a state-of-the-art event space, a large children’s book section, and community spaces. This will be the first Harvard Book Store in the City of Boston, their only other location being in Cambridge.

Harvard Book Store will occupy over 29 thousand square feet in Boston’s Back Bay. The independent bookstore was founded in 1932 in Harvard Square so it is a big accomplishment for them to be opening in the Prudential Location. They are known for their inventory and curation with a blend of academic and general interest titles as well as their author event series. They host numerous book talks and signings each year!

We can’t wait to welcome this beloved bookstore to the Back Bay neighborhood!
