Santouka Allston Opening

Santouka Allston just opened last week! They are the perfect spot as we move towards “bowl“ weather. They donated the proceeds from the first opening night to Community Servings and the first 50 clients got their meals discounted!

The award-winning Japanese ramen restaurant has opened its doors in Allston (169 Brighton Avenue) and we couldn’t be more excited. This marks the third location! The creamy salt flavor Shio Ramen recipe comes directly from Japan and it is one you do not want to miss at all.

“We opened both Harvard Square and Back Bay locations over seven years ago and we appreciate Bostonians and their ongoing enthusiastic support," said Santouka Chef/Owner Igo Takahiro.

The menu includes over half a dozen types of different ramen and a selection of toppings, from fishcake to pork belly. There are also broth-less noodle dishes, rice bowls, and small plates of Japanese treats such as gyozas, fried octopus balls, and steamed buns. For the full menu click here. The restaurant will only have 32 seats so we recommend reservations.

For the majority of October, until October 24th, the restaurant will be giving students who register through the Santouka mobile app and have a valid student ID, 10% off their entire meal! It is a perfect ramen spot for those study nights! The restaurant will be open from 12PM to 10PM seven days a week.
